Pinpoint clinics and Online Recovery Support have teamed up to bring therapeutic low cost medicine to those in recovery! Pinpoint clinics will start offering bi-weekly acupuncture and herbal treatments to those in recovery.  If you are in recovery for drugs, alcohol, prescription pharmaceuticals, or other types of addictions we can help. 

Pinpoint clinics is offering this low cost effective form of “recovery based acupuncture” because we believe in what ORS is doing for people.   Having a forum where people can access information and gain education is wonderful!  Pinpoint Clinics will be offereing  treatments so people can continue their steps on the path of recovery.  We will also be able to treat many other medical conditions you have at the same time while we are assisting you in your recovery process.

What will a “treatment look like”?  The special treatments will be 20$ each with discounted medicinal herbs to go along with it.  The acupuncture needles are hair thin and will only be inserted into your ears and scalp.  You will not need to disrobe, and you will be sitting in chairs.  The treatments will last about 30 minutes where people will sit quietly.  The treatment area will be small peaceful meditative healing space.  We intend to keep the numbers of people being treated small so we can devote our full attention to each person.

The protocol that we will use is called the “5NP” protocol.  It has been used all over the world, in hospitals, rehab programs, by doctors and lay people.  It has proven to effectively reduce cravings, calm the patient, assist in the recovery process, and help with lowering recidivism rates.  At www.acupuncturevolunteer.com we teach and use this technique while donating our services.  We will be using the “protocol” in September at a free medical acupuncture camp on an Indian reservation.
